Hey, I'm Andrew. I design, draft, and sew Softshell Clothes in Portland, Oregon. I'm a self-taught sewist who loves experimenting. My goal is to make clothing that feels like your adventure companion.

I'm inspired by fantasy novels, unique textures, and the sense of protection I feel in my favorite clothes. Drawing inspiration from Japanese Americana and vintage workwear, Softshell Clothes are thoughtfully functional.

Handmade clothing creates an intimate connection between the maker, the wearer, and the clothing. When we love our clothes, they become part of our identity. They accompany us through our lives, and they age and fade along the way. It's an honor to make clothing for you!
